About Yield Network
Yield Network structures pre-deposit vaults, designs incentive programs, and raises committed liquidity for L1/L2 foundations, protocols, and asset issuers. Over the last year the team collectively placed $1bn+ in liquidity across campaigns like Ink, Aptos, Sei, Linea, and Pharos.
Every deal we distribute clears diligence before it reaches our LP network. This role owns that bar.
The role
You're the first evaluator on the deals we distribute - the check between a counterparty's pitch and an LP's capital. You run diligence on incoming deals, chase down open questions, verify claims onchain, and produce the memos and risk materials the team and LPs rely on.
You work with our Senior Associate, who owns structuring and counterparty communications. You own the research and data layer underneath it.
What you'll do
- Run diligence on incoming deals and proposals: audits, track record, returns, eligibility
- Verify claims onchain: fund flows, TVL composition, vault mechanics (Dune, DeFiLlama, Vaults.fyi)
- Draft deal memos, risk assessments, and diligence responses on our templates, every figure sourced and labelled
- Model and pressure-test yield assumptions before they go into any material
- Keep trackers and data rooms current across parallel deal timelines
Who you are
- 1-3 years in an analyst, research, or data role in DeFi: a fund, protocol, research desk, or serious independent work
- You understand vault mechanics, lending markets, and where yield actually comes from
- You can read an audit, build a model in Sheets, and write a memo someone can act on
- Comfortable in a small senior team: async, light process, high ownership from day one
- Bonus: hands-on experience depositing into vaults or pre-deposit campaigns, or prior underwriting exposure
